Meine Fachkenntnisse gr\u00fcnden sich neben dem Gro\u00dfen Latinum und dem Graecum auf ein Studium der Klassischen Arch\u00e4ologie, Alten Geschichte und Klassischen Philologie im Fach Latein.
Im Jahr 2004 wurde ich an der Ruprecht-Karls-Universit\u00e4t Heidelberg promoviert.
Meinem f\u00e4cher\u00fcbergreifenden altertumswissenschaftlichen Hintergrund entsprechend tummeln sich die Themen meiner Produkte in einem breiten Spektrum der r\u00f6mischen Welt.<\/p>\n

Von 1998 bis 2021 arbeitete ich als wissenschaftliche Angestellte der Heidelberger Akademie der Wissenschaften im Projekt \u201eEpigraphische Datenbank Heidelberg (EDH)\u201c, welches die lateinischen Inschriften des R\u00f6mischen Reiches erfasst.<\/p>\n

Obwohl mir auch Forschung gro\u00dfen Spa\u00df macht, war es mir immer ein Bed\u00fcrfnis, nicht nur Spezialthemen unter Wissenschaftlern zu diskutieren, sondern auch Menschen au\u00dferhalb der Fachwelt f\u00fcr die r\u00f6mische Antike zu begeistern.<\/p>\n

Erfahrungen mit \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit ergaben und ergeben sich immer wieder bei Veranstaltungen wie dem Wissenschaftsmarkt, dem Akademientag, dem Tag des Offenen Denkmals, dem Sch\u00fclertag oder der Nacht der Wissenschaften mit Postern, Werbetexten, Pr\u00e4sentationen und Sch\u00fclerworkshops.<\/p>\n

Unabh\u00e4ngig davon begann ich im Jahr 2009, Erwachsenen und Sch\u00fclern in privaten oder \u00f6ffentlichen F\u00fchrungen an Fundpl\u00e4tzen und in Museen in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg die Hinterlassenschaften der R\u00f6mer zu erschlie\u00dfen – und auch Sie w\u00fcrden staunen, was man alles daraus ablesen kann!<\/p>\n

Es folgte die wissenschaftliche Mitarbeit an einem Kurzfilm mit einer animierten 3D-Rekonstruktion zum r\u00f6mischen Forum von Ladenburg (Lopodunum). Der Film ist f\u00fcr die breite \u00d6ffentlichkeit konzipiert und seit 2014 in die Dauerausstellung im Lobdengau-Museum<\/a> integriert.<\/p>\n

Zeichnen war von jeher mein Ein und Alles \u2013 bis die R\u00f6mer noch dazukamen. Dies schlug sich z. B. in wissenschaftlichen Rekonstruktionszeichnungen nieder.<\/p>\n

Im Rahmen meiner T\u00e4tigkeit an der Akademie entwarf ich au\u00dferdem Poster, Bildvorlagen f\u00fcr Flyer u. \u00c4. f\u00fcr \u00f6ffentliche Veranstaltungen.<\/p>\n

Die Einarbeitung in die 3D-Modellierung mit dem Programm Blender m\u00fcndete in eine Animation des Mithr\u00e4ums von Martigny, die seit 2016 im Schweizerischen Nationalmuseum<\/a> und seit 2018 auf der Website der Fondation Pro Octoduro<\/a>, die sich f\u00fcr den Erhalt des antiken Erbes von Martigny einsetzt, zu sehen ist.<\/p>\n

widme ich mich der Erstellung von anschaulichen Unterrichtsmaterialien f\u00fcr den Latein- und Geschichtsunterricht. Um Einblick in die wichtigen Themen und die praktischen Fragen des Lehralltags zu gewinnen, halte ich Kontakt zu Latein- und Geschichtslehrern und nehme an Lehrerfortbildungen teil.<\/p>\n

Es liegen mir aber auch alle am Herzen, die sich in welcher Weise auch immer f\u00fcr die r\u00f6mische Welt interessieren. Um dieses Interesse oder auch einfach die Freude daran zu f\u00f6rdern, erstelle ich z. B. allgemein verst\u00e4ndliche Erkl\u00e4rfilme f\u00fcr jedermann.<\/p>\n
